He married twice. He married Capitolia Delight Martin 07 September 1917. He married Flossie K. Haynes Hall 1945.

Jestarus Adolphus Hardesty and Capitolia Delight Martin had the following children:

158 ii. Hale Gardiner Hardesty was born in Cheyenne, Laramie co., WY 29 Sep 1923. He married Shirley M. Rallens in Gering, Scotttsbluff co., NE, 26 Apr 1948.
