Introduction
THIS  branch  of  the Fullerton family is currently unconnected to any other.  James Alexander Fullerton is the earliest known, and  his  origins  are  unknown.  He  may  have  been  born  in  Ireland.   His son said he was born in,  or  at  least arrived from, France.
    The information on James and his descendants down to Christian R. Fullerton has been provided by the courtesy of Gordon Fullerton of Honolulu, Hawaii, the premier  Fullerton  resercher  alive  today.   He  maintains  the  massive  database known  as  The  Fullertons,  Fullingtons,  Fullartons,  Fullontons,  Fulletons  and Fullitons of North America.    It is his attempt to list every known descendant  of  every  known  Fullerton  immigrant  to  the  U.  S.,  by  whatever  variant  of  the name they are known.  He may be contacted at:
