9. John Lloyd² Goodwin (Enoch¹) was born in IN 14 Mar 1852. John died 26 Dec 1913 Royal, Antelope co., NE, at 61 years of age.

He married twice. He married Charlotte Rebecca Wilson in Tama, Tama co., IA, 11 May 1870.⁽⁴⁾ Charlotte was born in KY 3 Aug 1842. Charlotte was the daughter of Wilson and Charlotte Rebecca Postlethwaite. Charlotte died 1896 in nr. St. Francis, Cheyenne co., KS, at 53 years of age. He married Maretta Gressman in Scottsbluff co., NE, 1902. Maretta was born in Galveston, Galveston co., TX 7 Jun 1857. Maretta died 1936 in Sioux co., NE, at 79 years of age. Her body was interred 1936 in Morrill, Scottsbluff Co., NE, Forest Lawn.

John Lloyd Goodwin and Charlotte Rebecca Wilson had the following children:

14 i. George Washington³ Goodwin was born in Tama, Tama co., IA 22 Jan 1871. George died 18 Nov 1944 in Knox co., NE, at 73 years of age. He married Elva Elizabeth Fenton in York co., NE, 1890. Elva was born in Whiteside co., IL 3 Mar 1866. Elva died 7 Sep 1951 in Ainsworth, NE, at 85 years of age. Her body was interred 10 Sep 1951 in Ainsworth, NE.

+ 15 ii. Oscar Fian Goodwin was born 26 Feb 1873.

16 iii. Samuel Hicks Goodwin was born in Springfield, Green co., MO 10 Sep 1877. Samuel died 29 Sep 1954 in Garden City, Ada co., ID, at 77 years of age. He married twice. He married Nettie Elmira Hardesty in Madison, Madison co., NE, 25 Dec 1901. Nettie was born in Concordia, Cloud Co., KS 23 July 1883. Nettie was the daughter of John Coleman Hardesty and Mary Jane Josephine Fuller. Nettie died 07 January 1957 at 73 years of age. He married Emma after 1905.
