He married twice. He married Grace Louise Andersen ca. 1918. Grace was born in Webster City, Hamilton Co., IA. Grace was the daughter of Rasmus Andersen and Sorena Hansen. Grace died 09 December 1942 in Morrill, Scottsbluff Co., NE. Her body was interred 12 December 1942 in Morrill, Scottsbluff Co., NE, Forest Lawn. He married Vera after 1942.
