He married Isabelle M. Fuller in Minneapolis, Ottawa co., KS, 9 Jul 1880. Isabelle was born in Venango twp., Erie co., PA 5 Sep 1854. Isabelle was the daughter of Noble Timothy Fuller and Rebecca Adams. Isabelle died 1936 in Ottawa co., KS, at 81 years of age. Her body was interred 1936 in Ottawa co., KS, Lamar Cemetery.

James Franklin Hardesty and Isabelle M. Fuller had the following children:

54 iv. infant daughter Hardesty was born in Minneapolis, Ottawa co., KS 1887. She died 1887 in Minneapolis, Ottawa co., KS, at less than one year of age. Her body was interred 1887 in Ottawa co., KS, Lamar Cemetery.

55 v. William A. Hardesty was born in Minneapolis, Ottawa co., KS 9 Mar 1888. William died 1890 in Ottawa co., KS, at 2 years of age. His body was interred 1890 in Ottawa co., KS, Lamar Cemetery.

56 vi. Noble Ernest Hardesty was born in Minneapolis, Ottawa co., KS 25 Aug 1891. Noble died 1954 at 62 years of age.

57 vii. Dan Hardesty was born in Minneapolis, Ottawa co., KS 1893. Dan died 1893 in Minneapolis, Ottawa co., KS, at less than one year of age.

58 viii. Fay Agnes Hardesty was born in Minneapolis, Ottawa co., KS 1895. Fay died 1897 in Minneapolis, Ottawa co., KS, at 2 years of age.

59 ix. Loretta Hardesty was born in Minneapolis, Ottawa co., KS 1898. Loretta died 1905 in Minneapolis, Ottawa co., KS, at 7 years of age.
