She married Charles Sylvester Stephensen in Wichita, Sedgewick co., KS, Sep 1907. Ves was born in Bedford, IN 8 Nov 1881. Ves died 12 Apr 1953 in Wichita, Sedgewick co., KS, at 71 years of age.

Mary Elizabeth Hardesty and Charles Sylvester Stephensen had the following children:

78 i. Orville⁴ Stephensen was born in Hazelton, Barber co., KS. Orville died in Hazelton, Barber co., KS.

79 ii. Ruth Leo Stephensen was born in Hazelton, Barber co., KS 19 Dec 1908. Ruth died 31 Oct 1996 in Albuquerque, Bernalillo co., NM, at 87 years of age. She married twice. She married Buck Mize. She married Sidney Crossman. Sidney was born in Brooklyn, NY 14 Sep 1908.

+ 80 iii. Helen Maxine Stephensen was born 20 Aug 1912.

+ 81 iv. Frank Joseph Stephensen was born 15 Oct 1914.

+ 82 v. Mayme Eloise Stephensen was born 10 Sep 1917.
